Caribbean Revealed

Well after weeks of waiting and guessing primary six finally revealed their Caribbean Island to their guests.

The class have been working on the island for the past 8 weeks and have put a lot of effort into transforming their classroom. When we began the topic we never imagined how different our class would look. From falling palm trees to sinking beach huts, this topic has provided primary six with challenges, but also a lot of fun.

Thank you to all those who attended our open evening. We hope that you enjoyed all the activities and chocolate on offer. Pictures from the evening will be posted here soon.

We would also like to thank Mrs Gray for all her contributions to our topic. Also to Mr Rankin and Mrs Ward for helping to make our classroom beautiful. A special thanks goes to Darren McNish for directing our wonderful play (apolopgies for Miss McCurdy's bad acting :) ). Finally we would like to extend our gratitude to our families and friends for supporting us in our learning.

After all this time in paradise, we're exhausted. Thank goodness Easter break is around the corner.

Before then we'll be enjoying bowling, a visit to the church and an Easter Egg Hunt.
