April/May in P6

Primary 6 have had a very busy and eventful April and May. One of our highlights has been when Paisley Arts Theatre Company worked with us on an anti-bullying presentation called "Being Me." We spent the morning rehearsing with two ladies from P.A.C.E on songs and drama performances. We then performed for Primaries 3-7 in the gym hall. Miss Hyde said we were all fantastic and had made her very proud. We didn't have very long to rehearse our songs so we think we did an amazing job!

We are currently learning about our new topic which is Brazil. We have been learning about the Amazon Rainforest and all the species and people living in the rainforest. We have also learned about how to protect the rainforest and why is it important to do so. Miss Bremner has been leading our topic and the next area we are going to learn about is the carnival. Brazil is an extremely diverse country with the warmest and wettest areas in the world. It is so interesting.

We are looking forward to continuing with out topic and are excited about all the other exciting things we have coming up in June!!
