World of Work Week
World of Work Week was a huge success and the children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different types of jobs that people do for a living. The children have learned "what skills and qualities mean", "the importance of communication in every job", and "questions asked in an application form/interview".
The children were very respectful and showed good listening when our visitors were in. They demonstrated a keen interest in their job by asking very good questions and writing down the key information.
The children were very enthusiastic about the interview task, where they worked in pairs to identify the key questions people might get asked in an interview. They then role-played an interview scene.
